I want to go and see this sculpture … immediately!
Men at Sea, 1994, Esbjerg by the Danish sculpture and painter, Svend Wiig Hansen (1922-1997). The nine-metre-high men are inspired by Cycladic art and the figures on Easter Island. Awesome
Great pic by RasMarley too

I can’t believe I’ve only just discovered Companys Original!
Located at the dodgy end of Strøget I’ve always just hurried past on my way to the other end of town but yesterday the fact that No. 21 was listed amongst their designers pulled me in … and my oh my … a dangerous discovery indeed.
Great mix of designers from Acne, 3.1 Phillip Lim and Carven to Malene Birger, Part Two and Soaked, a lift for pram pushing mummies plus complimentary coffee, water or these nifty Diet cokes designed by Marc Jacobs.

Today, after two years of scaffolding and tarpaulin, the Hotel d’Angleterre has finally reopened.

C. F. Møller Architects have renovated this luxurious Danish landmark, built in 1755 on Kongens Nytorv, modernizing the rooms while preserving the buildings rich heritage. Love the staircase … mean cocktails at the champagne bar too.

A day at Arken … a day well spent
